EcoZone

The founders of EcoMedia envisioned a way to partner with municipalities to improve the environment, but they needed help to make that vision a reality. To facilitate these partnerships, DMD devised a brand position that communicated their messages to the community while creating buy-in opportunities for businesses. We crafted a visual identity system of environmentally inspired icons designed to work across many mediums including online, out-of-home, and print. We also constructed the EcoZone, an area that would prominently announce the environmental work being done there, while showcasing the sponsoring businesses. To ensure success, we tested the signage in multiple markets, before deploying it throughout the target municipalities.

Wolf-Gordon

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design(R) (LEED) program has a number of various programs covering different phases of construction and operation. In addition credit interpretations are constantly being updated and newer more specific versions of the program are being developed. DMD Green assists clients understanding the various programs and how their products may relate or in many cases not specifically contribute to credits based on new or updated information.

Working closing with Wolf-Gordon’s design team and manufacturing groups DMD Green was able to assist Wolf-Gordon in articulating how all of their current and developmental products may contribute to all the applicable LEED(R) programs. Part of this process included working with various sales representatives to assist in training and bringing the LEED program into the sales and specification process.

We are Hunter Green

As Hunter Douglas Window Fashions began to overtly communicate the sustainable and green characteristics of their products they needed to develop cohesive and transparent marketing program to bring this to the consumer and garner internal support within their own company. As part of this program DMD Green developed a competitive, market and third-party validation sustainable research program for all of Hunter Douglas’ products. In addition DMD Green developed and facilitated a number of sustainable and green product workshops for their key internal stake holders and sales groups.

The various projects included working with different academic, government, and NGO research groups to incorporate new standards within the product category and help streamline the appropriate sustainable communications messages to better reach their goals.

Nysan Solar Control

Nysan was a commercial shading company looking to dramatically alter its operating profile and incorporate a green or sustainable business change. Working with DMD Green through a number of sustainable audits on their products and service offering and through a collaborative restructuring of their corporate strategy, Nysan emerged re-branded; Nysan Solar Control and is now one of the most green minded shading companies in the world. With DMD Green’s involvement Nysan was able to develop the GreenScreen(R) line of solar shading fabrics and SolarWare(R) intelligent solar shading tracking software which can save buildings millions in CO2 emissions and substantial monetary savings in operating heating and cooling costs.
