Like most, I found myself increasingly interested in how the “Cap and Trade” system actually works and what effect it would have on overall business. To provide a little perspective, the EPA issued a memo on Apr 23 on how the Agency will meet its “heightened commitment to transparency.”

Metropolis editor-in-chief Susan Szenazy, the
New Approaches to Energy event, featured a diverse group of expert panelists, each with unique insights on the energy crisis.

Andrew Personette and Matt Tyson started Design Green Now in April of 2008 as an avenue to facilitate conversation, education and action amongst those interested in creating a healthy planet. With a successful year 2 now in the books, DMD Green had a chance to sit down with the co-founders to check their thoughts on the state of green conferences today and where they see Design Green Now going in the future.

Design Green Now launched its three-part series of panel discussions exploring innovations in environmentally responsible design this week at Pratt Institute and the Fashion Institute of Technology.
